The Platoon Leader Book Project
We are partnered with Nate Self and Chris Miller (both USMA ’98) to research and write a book on the leadership experiences of platoon leaders in the current war. The intent of the book is to generate a deeper understanding of the leadership challenges of today’s Army platoon leaders.

The book will tell platoon leaders’ stories in their own words, as well as include commentary and analysis by more experienced combat-vet leaders. This photo shows USMA staff and faculty reviewing drafts of the book. More than 30 USMA personnel from across the Academy (BS&L, ELDP, DMI, BTD, SE, HIST, ENGL, SOSH) are voluntarily participating in the Platoon Leader Book project. |
